Welcome!

WELCOME!

It is a cold snowy day in the mountains in West Virginia as I sit to write this first entry.
We had about 6-1/2 inches of snow today! Who would ever have imagined Spring would be this late in coming?

Crocuses have bloomed, the red bud trees are in bloom, and the grass is ready for its first cut of the year! Yet this morning we awakened to snow!

God has funny ways at times to get our attentions! I have been planning this blog for months. And I imagined an elaborate, fancy blog with lots of links to special sites, and music, and teaching. But I kept putting it off. And this morning, as I was getting ready to go to work, I felt a distinctive presence of His Spirit telling me today is the day. "But Lord, I haven't anything prepared!" (Don't we all make excuses for ourselves?) I was immediately hit back with a resounding "TODAY!"

I was going to say "Lord, I'll start as soon as I get home!", and as I opened the door to let my doggy outside for her morning habit, I was met with this snow! Immediately I was humbled and I thank you, Lord, for stopping me. Literally, in my tracks.

So, I'll use today to introduce myself. I am a 58 year old, married, mother of 6 gorgeous children. Five God allowed me to carry under my heart, and one in it. They are all six my precious children! Three young women, and three young men! And I am the proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren, with number 14 due to arrive in August.

I am an insurance Care Manager (Nurse/Social Worker). This work I do part time. I've been a nurse for 30 years. I also operate my own genealogical business. And I am an ordained non-denominational minister.

I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was born of the Virgin Mary. He spent three years teaching and performing miracles on this earth, beginning when he was 30 years of age. And He transformed all mankind for all eternity. He gave Himself a ransom for our sins. And all we need do to have eternal life is to ask Him for forgiveness of our sins and let His sweet Spirit come into our lives! You see, He gave His life for each of us. But it didn't stop there, to prove He was truly God's Son, He rose from the dead, and is awaiting our arrival now in Heaven.

I was "saved", "born again", accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, at a tender age. April 18, 1970. I was 10 years old. The same year on December 12th, I followed the example of Jesus and was baptized, symbolizing my burial from my old life, and resurrection in my new life as a child of God.

My life has been full. I have experienced so many things that I cannot put them all down into words!

I was raised by a loving, Christian Mother. My Dad became a Christian the same year I did. I was blessed to see my Mother and our Pastor lead him to the Lord in our living room. And they lead their family of four children by example. They weren't perfect. But they were perfect to me.

My Mother went home to be with Jesus almost three years ago. Dad is still with us. And he's the glue that keeps our family together! There isn't a one of us that doesn't consider him a hero!

I am the eldest of four children. I have a sister, and 2 brothers. All are born again. My youngest brother being a lay minister.

My husband and I have been married 20 years. Each of us having been married before. Each of us with scriptural divorces. We wondered for years alone before finding one another. And we know that "God Blessed The Broken Road" that led us to one another. We are older and wiser. And kinder to one another. We were, simply put, a marriage arranged by God.

I am an author. And I love crafting.

We are preparing to build a small home which will be our final home on this earth. It is a gift actually, from my sister to us. Not many can say that their sister built a home for them! It will be small, snug and cozy. And I am so looking forward to that new place! We hope to be there by June!

I am not currently preaching. However, you will soon be able to listen to my podcasts, which I will put here for easy retrieval. I was recently given a mission by the Lord. I encourage you to come back often and be prepared to hear Words given me straight from the Lord. He gave me a commission to prepare people for the coming War against Satan.  And I want you all to be ready!

I am also a "singer". You will notice I don't use the word Artist. That I am not. I simply have a song in my heart at all times. (It used to drive my children crazy!) I recently discovered Smule, and so I put my singing with real music now. I hope you will enjoy it. But mostly, I hope you listen to the words of the songs I will place here. They are precious and have deep value and meaning as we walk this rocky road of life.

And just so you know what I actually look like, here's a recent snapshot of me.

And now let us have a short word of prayer:

"Almighty Father, I thank you for the opportunity to have this medium to come into the home of dear people around the world. I give thanks for this moment Lord, when you have started me on a great commission. That of warning and teaching your beloved. I ask that you bless each one for visiting this site, Father. And I ask that if there be even one among them that does not know you as their personal Savior that You will lay a burden and conviction upon their hearts that they repent and ask you to come live within them Lord, that they, too, might one day enter into Heaven's glory and have eternal life! I ask you to bring me back again soon with the first of the sermons you have placed upon my heart. Help to prepare Your People for the coming end days. In Jesus Precious and Holy name I ask these things, Amen."

Until we meet again, may the Lord bless and keep you!
